Most of the cider houses mentioned that offer the Ovo/Lacto/Api-vegetarian menu, indicating it in advance, could adapt it to a 100% vegetable menu. Likewise, there are cider houses that do not offer a menu as such for vegans, but they adapt, upon request, offering off-menu dishes, such as salads, vegetable stews, etc. For example, Oialume Zar between Hernani y Astigarraga (943552938 – WEB); Lizeaga in Astigarraga (943468290 – WEB).
Finally, it is known that during cider houses season there is a lot of demand, so it is advisable to book in advance, and if you want a 100% vegetable menu, clearly indicate it when making the reservation (also make it clear that you want a vegan menu, and not an ovo/lacto/api-vegetarian menu). And although the typical cider house menu is quite well known and common, in 100% vegetable menus there are differences from one cider house to another, so when making the reservation, it is also advisable to ask about the dishes that make up the Vegan menu and the price, or if we can change dishes to our taste or needs. It is better to avoid last minute surprises.
